"Not bright enough for me"
I tried it out expecting a more even, usable light, but in practice it came out weak and uneven. Some spots were brighter than others, so it didn’t really cover the area the way I needed it to. Based on my experience, it just feels too patchy to be reliable.

"Color was way off and the wait made it worse"
I ordered a lamp base from pooky.com because the photos made it look like a really nice soft green, which was exactly what I wanted. It also took longer than I expected to arrive, so by the time it finally showed up I was already a bit annoyed from waiting.

When I opened it, the color was nothing like the pictures. It was much darker and kind of muddy-looking, and the finish wasn’t what I expected either. In the photos it looked smooth and matte, but in person it was more shiny and a bit patchy.
I contacted customer service and they basically said colors can look different on screens, which I understand to a point, but this wasn’t just a tiny difference. For the price, I really expected the photos to be more accurate. Between the wait and the disappointment, I wouldn’t order again

"I’m a trade customer and my order…"
I’m a trade customer and my order had an issue that held up the job. I contacted support, but nothing really got sorted and I was left chasing. It made the whole job awkward, and unless their trade service improves, I wouldn’t use them again. That’s it

"Disappointing return experience"
I ordered a lamp from Pooky, but when it arrived it looked quite different from what I expected, so I decided to return it. the whole returns process was more frustrating than it needed to be. I had to search around for the right information, wait for replies, and it wasn’t very clear what I was supposed to do next. I get that returns take a bit of admin, but it feels like basic customer service to make things straightforward when someone simply wants to send something back. I’m still waiting for my refund days later, which just adds to the frustration. It’s a shame, but I don’t think I’ll be ordering again

"Not quite the look I expected"
It might just be my room setup, but the design looked a little cheap and kind of odd once I put it in place. I was hoping it would blend in better, but it didn’t really work with my space

"Took forever, but the item was okay"
The delivery was frustrating. I ordered thinking it would show up in a few days, but it ended up taking way longer than expected, and the tracking barely updated. I had to keep checking and chasing for answers, which got annoying fast. That said, the item itself was totally fine when it finally arrived, so I can’t really complain about the product. Still, I probably wouldn’t order again if I needed something quickly, even though part of me feels like it wasn’t the worst experience ever.

"I was expecting a lot more options, but…"
I was expecting a lot more options, but the selection felt limited. I kept seeing the same kinds of styles over and over, and there wasn’t much that felt fresh or different. I was trying to find a few ideas for a room makeover, but I ended up getting frustrated and leaving the site. When I reached out to support, it kind of felt like they were blaming me for not searching the right way instead of acknowledging the lack of variety. Maybe it works if their specific style is what you’re after, but for me it just felt way too limited.

"Not quite what I hoped for"
I ordered this lampshade because the size and shape looked like they’d work really well with a lamp I already had, and I was hoping it would freshen up the room a bit. Shipping was fine and it was packaged okay, so at first I thought it would be a simple swap. Once I got it on the lamp and looked at it in normal light, though, I noticed the fabric was thin and the seams weren’t straight. It ended up looking cheaper than I expected, especially for the price. Kind of disappointing overall.

"Always Seems to Be Out of Stock"
I keep checking for the stuff I actually want, and it’s always out of stock. Kind of frustrating, honestly, especially when you finally decide to buy something and then, of course, it’s unavailable.

"Not worth the price for me"
I felt like I’d paid a lot more than I should have for what turned up. The lamp looks fine from across the room, but once I got closer, it just didn’t feel as nice as I expected.
For the price, I thought the quality and finish would be better. It kind of makes you question it, and I don’t think I’d buy from Pooky again.

"Looks Better Online Than in Person"
I thought this looked really nice in the photos, so I was excited to get it. But this is where it got annoying: once it arrived, the quality just wasn’t there. The edges were rough, and some of the fittings felt loose right out of the box. It seemed badly made, which was disappointing.

"Delivery was all over the place"
I ordered from Pooky and, the delivery side of things was a bit of a shambles. It didn’t arrive when it was supposed to, the tracking was barely moving, and I ended up having to chase for updates instead of just being told what was going on. Reading between the lines, it felt like no one really knew where the order was or when it would actually show up. It did arrive in the end, but much later than I needed, which was frustrating because I’d planned a room setup around it. The products seem nice enough, but if timing is important, I’d be hesitant to order again.

"Box Arrived Crushed"
The box showed up completely crushed, like it had been tossed around the whole way here. what a joke. Not exactly the kind of delivery experience you hope for

"Tracking Was Useless"

"Be prepared to chase them up"
They did get it sorted in the end, but I had to follow up a few times before anything really moved. Just a heads-up for others: don’t expect it to be quick or straightforward. I’m glad it was eventually resolved, but I wasn’t impressed with the waiting around.

"The shade size wasn’t really close…"
The shade size wasn’t really close to what was shown in the listing, so it ended up not fitting my lamp at all. Kinda annoying, had to pack it up and send it back.

"Damaged lamp and a frustrating support process"
My lamp showed up damaged, trying to get it sorted turned into a hassle. I sent the photos they asked for, then waited several days, only to get vague replies back. At this point, I’m assuming this is just how their customer service usually goes, because nothing has been properly fixed yet. I really expected better and don’t see myself ordering from them again.

"Felt Misled by the Shopping Experience"
I tried browsing pooky.com expecting it to be a smooth and easy experience, but I just ended up frustrated. The pages were really slow, the filters felt awkward to use, and the checkout was way more confusing than it should’ve been. It kind of felt misleading because the site gives the impression that shopping there will be simple, but it really wasn’t. I gave up after a while and didn’t end up buying anything.
